Here is where you will find my fictions. These will be original works but I do plan to do some fanfics as well.
Long stories will be in PDF format (which you can download by clicking the download button),
but short poems will just be printed here. I'll keep adding to this page whenever I can.
There is a house
in the middle of a forest.
Look at it,
for that's where you'll sleep tonight.
It has only one door.
When you go through it,
try not to collapse
from the choking heat.
For there are no windows to circulate the air,
nor light to pierce the darkness.
If you are overwhelmed
then you must leave
the door open.
Note that the house
is devoid of furniture.
See how the walls change color,
as if infected.
Watch as moisture gathers on the walls.
Taste the moisture,
so much like cinnamon.
And as the door closes
and the house starts to shake,
from somewhere deep inside,
you'll hear it call your name.
I used to write a lot as a kid, and as you can expect most of it was garbage. This poem is one of the few things from that time
that I'm actually still proud of, and I was glad to find it again while I was decluttering. I wrote this while going to school at
Five Towns College and I was taking a Creative Writing course being taught by Prof. Brittain, who was one of my favorite instructors
and I would like to now thank for his inspiration and valuable advice. It was an interesting class and what was great about it was
that all the students in the class were taking it seriously and I think we all fed off of each other's creativity. It was a great
experience and I would love to have another one like that in the future. Anyway, I decided to have some fun with this poem and so I
based it on... well, I'm not going to say. Read it and try to figure it out. If you can't and you need to know, send me an email
and I'll tell you. Sorry if I'm being obscure but one of the fun moments in the class was, after reading and discussing its
technical aspects, revealing the inspiration behind the poem and watching everyone's reactions. It was then that I think I started
to see the real art behind writing and how much power it could have.

This is my first screenplay for a movie that will never be made. Since it won't be made, I took some creative liberties
to make it less dry and more visual to the reader. This is a horror story, and if I can classify it as anything I would say it's a
more philosophical Evil Dead. Doesn't that sound exciting? No? Well, here it is anyway. It's a slow burn, and the challenge was to
not make it a dull read. I wrote this during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to try to make sense of what was happening in 2020, which is
when the story takes place, but I tried to make it generic enough so the year didn't matter. Speaking as someone who has stared numerous
things but never finished them, it felt good to finish this. At 103 pages, it's probably my most ambitious work at this time. If you're
interested, I was able to finish by having a clear outline with a definite ending and then I just wrote down everything that came
to me, omitting nothing until the editing phase. Being able to see the finish line helped me through the tough parts and gave me the
will to carry on until done. Now the challenge is: can I do it again?

Well, to answer the question I poised above, it looks like I can do it again. Hopefully I can keep doing it. This is a tribute
to a show I started watching when I was a kid a long time ago living in Long Island watching public TV channel 21.
Of course I first started watching this channel because it was the only place where I could see Monty Python. One day I decided to give
Dr. Who a try. My first Doctor was Tom Baker, who still remains one of my favorites. I was hooked by this quirky show from the start and
ended up watching episodes of all the original 7 doctors until it was canceled. When I heard it was coming back I tuned in and, honestly,
the magic was gone. I only found the shows OK, with some really good episodes here and there, but overall it was uneven. Whether the show
was actually worse than the classic episodes or it was just me getting old or a combination of both I cannot say, but I just gave up and moved on. I
have no interest in catching up with the show now, so this is me saying farewell to an old friend and thanks to those who made the show
possible. So what's the story about? In this "episode", the Doctor is recruiting a new companion, but there's complications. I wanted to
explore the Doctor's raison d'être to see how far I could stretch it. I hope you enjoy it and thanks for reading.
